The perfect compromise for quarreling couples. When one wants to drink red, the other white, the rosé is the conciliatory golden mean. Rosé is the perfect summer wine. The vine
Portugieser is considered an uncomplicated, drinkable and fresh pint wine. Since without too much tannin, it is drinkable very early in the year. It is especially suitable as a light rosé for the warm summertime. This variety was introduced to Germany in the 18th century and was one of the first red wine varieties to be cultivated on a large scale in the Palatinate. At the Palatinate wine festivals, Portugieser Weißherbst enjoyed its heyday in the 90s as a Weißherbst spritzer. It still tastes good today.Analysis
