Pinot Blanc- Edition “P”

dry

2021

Spätlese

Art.-Nr.: 21

A rather mature Pinot Blanc, and if it were a singer, it would now switch from light operetta to opera, where it would perform high-level arias. The delicate sweetness and light acidity are nicely integrated into this harmonious droplet. Its taste reminds of dried apricots and honeydew melon, also many ripe yellow fruits give it a good concentration.

Drinking suggestions

To a risotto with some spices and also already light hotness. Whether Indian, Chinese, Italian or simply German rice dishes, but not too spicy, this Pinot Blanc fits perfectly. And if you still have some appetite for a cheese, there is no need to change the wine.

The vine

Pinot Blanc is a mutation of Pinot Gris, which in turn is a mutation of Pinot Noir. The first appearance of this variety was in the 14th century in Burgundy. The vine loves a deep, nutrient-rich, fresh soil in sunny, warm locations. The wines achieve the highest quality in good years.
